Nous créons des podcasts, des playlists et des fictions originales qui mettent en avant la diversité des parcours, des cultures et des points de vue.
Chaque projet naît à la station, porté par une équipe mêlant bénévoles, étudiant·e·s et professionnel·le·s.
Les programmes traversent un large spectre, de la culture locale aux formes contemporaines d’expression, entre art, société et actualité.

Services

Radio Zai ouvre ses portes.
Artistes, étudiant·e·s, journalistes, collectifs : vous pouvez utiliser nos studios pour enregistrer, produire et partager vos projets.
Nous accompagnons les idées, du premier enregistrement jusqu’à la diffusion, avec l’envie de rendre possible ce qui ne trouve pas toujours sa place ailleurs.

Partenaires

Nous avançons avec un réseau d’acteurs culturels, associatifs et éducatifs à Aix et au-delà : musées, salles de concert, écoles, médias indépendants et organisations engagées.
Ces collaborations nourrissent une radio ancrée dans son territoire mais ouverte sur le monde.
Nous collaborons notamment avec : Musée Granet, 6MIC, MJC Prévert, SOS Méditerranée, l’École supérieure d’art, La Cimade, Amnesty International, Collectif AGIR, Book in Bar, Aix-Marseille Université, EJCAM, la faculté de musicologie, Sciences Po Aix, Reesah, Radio Garden, entre autres.

Éducation

Radio Zai, c’est aussi un lieu d’apprentissage.
Nous proposons des ateliers pour celles et ceux qui veulent créer un podcast, comprendre la radio ou simplement expérimenter le son.
En lien avec les écoles, les centres sociaux et les MJC, nous cherchons à transmettre des outils, mais surtout à donner confiance et envie de créer.

Culture/ Arts/ Musique

Visibilité : On donne aux artistes, musiciens et DJs un vrai espace pour se faire entendre — pas seulement en ligne, mais au sein d’une communauté Radio Zai qui défend la scène locale
Réseau : On crée des connexions entre musiciens, DJs et pros — des opportunités concrètes de collaboration et d’apprentissage.
Soutien : Sessions live, interviews, accompagnement — on aide les artistes à raconter leur histoire et à construire leur parcours.

On veut bosser avec vous pour mettre en avant vos sons ou vos sets, et ensemble, renforcer la scène locale.

Tiny d’Aix Concerts
Radio Zai organise ses propres Tiny d’Aix Concerts pour propulser les talents émergents. Une scène ouverte à une multitude de styles, reflet de notre engagement pour l’art, la musique et la culture à Aix et autour.

Live Radio
Une programmation musicale 24h/24, 7j/7 — playlists éclectiques, tous styles confondus.
Et plusieurs fois par semaine, du live : on y partage nos projets créatifs et on diffuse la musique locale pour les oreilles curieuses.

From 4 July 2026 to 3 January 2027, the Musée Granet in Aix-en-Provence will present a remarkable exhibition of photographs by Beatles legend, Paul McCartney: “Paul McCartney Photographs, 1963-64: Eyes of the Storm".

Featuring over 250 photographs taken by the musician between 1963 and 1964, the exhibition captures a pivotal moment for the band, as their fame spreads beyond Liverpool and the UK to the global stage. 

This profoundly personal insight into a key period in the band’s history was made possible by the rediscovery in 2020 of nearly a thousand photographs taken with a 35mm camera.

Found in Paul McCartney’s archives, these images record the band’s extraordinary journey from city to city, across Europe and America, starting in Liverpool and London at the end of 1963, Paris, and then the United States in February 1964, where their appearance on The Ed Sullivan Show drew an audience of 73 million.

In that moment, The Beatles achieved worldwide superstar status, redefining the very concept of fame in the modern era, setting the template for celebrity for decades to come.

His images open a window into the private lives of the “four boys from Liverpool” on tour, as they venture out into the world and discover the United States for the first time. Less than 20 years after the end of the Second World War, the country was seen by Paul McCartney—and by many Europeans—as the one that had liberated Europe. It represented a form of modernity and held everyone in thrall.

These photographs capture the energy of their concerts, the long days spent in rehearsals, in hotels, on the road, with the media watching their every move. For these four young men, already in the spotlight, every experience was an adventure.

Paul McCartney’s images capture the spirit and style of the 1960s, from the UK to Paris and the United States. Visitors are transported to the past—through the rear window of a car, from a train, or along the pavement outside Paris’s Olympia concert hall, where The Beatles performed alongside Sylvie Vartan. Many of the photographs were taken spontaneously, sometimes blurred, sometimes carefully composed. A lifelong interest in photography began for Paul McCartney as a child, when he and his brother experimented with the family’s Kodak Brownie.

The exhibition, presented chronologically, is divided into seven sections: Behind the Camera, Liverpool and London, Paris, Departures and Arrivals, New York, New York to Washington and Miami.
